Darwin is an easy city to get around with plenty of options to help you get where you need to go.
Parking
Parking in Darwin city is easy and convenient with a variety of options available.
Most parking locations in the city use the City of Darwin's PayStay App. Download the App and check out parking locations in the city here.
Darwin Waterfront has many parking options. Please use the parking meters available within the precinct.
Parking at Cullen Bay is free but time restrictions apply. Take note of this before leaving your vehicle.
Public Transport
Darwin's bus service operates seven days a week including public holidays, except for Good Friday and Christmas Day.
Buses operate from the Darwin, Casuarina and Palmerston interchanges.

Taxi ranks are available at the following locations:

Uber is also available in Darwin. You can download the app on iPhone and Apple devices.
Free Waterfront Shuttle
The Darwin Waterfront Shuttle Bus conveniently connects surrounding areas of the precinct, from the Deckchair Cinema all the way to Stokes Hill Wharf. Running between 11:30am and 2pm, as well as 4pm to 9pm, hop on and see the sites during a relaxing ride.

Beam E-Scooters
Beam E-Scooters operate in Darwin City and use a mobile app. The app is available for Apple and Android devices.
Once you download the app, you will be able to create an account and start scooting. The E-Scooters are an easy and cost effective way to explore the city.

Walking & Riding
Darwin's climate and environment makes for great walking and bike riding.
All cycle paths in Darwin are 'shared paths' and are used by pedestrians and cyclists. Please keep this in mind when exploring the city.
Bike parking is available at the Mall, the Waterfront and Cullen Bay.
