Darwin for all Seasons

Discover a different side of Darwin with Sue’s book as your guide. Wander up and down lanes and arcades to find unique boutiques, art galleries and coffee shops. Check out the street art festival murals, often on bits of industrial wall space, even on rubbish bins and find hidden away bars and restaurants. These quirky spaces are just around the corner from main-stream attractions, so everything is easily walkable (or you can scoot!).

Darwin for all Seasons is jam packed with walks, places to dine and shopping, plus there are details on markets, festivals and events. You won’t miss a thing with Sue’s book as your guide. Plus, her Tips and Bonus Bits add a unique and personal touch.

There are also sightseeing drives around Darwin (with maps) and road trips that go further afield to include most of the Top End. Check out the must-see Litchfield, Kakadu and Nitmiluk National Parks or head to lesser known destinations like Dundee, Daly River or Mataranka.

It was 11 years ago that Sue Moffitt fell under the spell of Darwin, so much so that she wrote a couple of editions of a travel guide book called Darwin in the Wet. Then she decided Darwin needed an all year-round guide book (with a Darwin in the Wet chapter of course!) and her new book Darwin for all Seasons was published late last year.

If you would like a copy of Sue's book, you can purchase it online, or at one of the Darwin city stockists; The Bookshop Darwin, Tourism Top End, Crocosaurus Cove or the Tactile Arts Shop (Parliament House)
