Located on the fringe of Darwin's northern suburbs, the park is popular with picnickers, walkers and birders at any time of the year. Cyclists and horse riders are welcome, on a separate shared track. Vehicles can access the park from 8am to 6pm. Some roads are closed during the wet season (October to April).
